  I found this shop on Google because I was looking for a place convenient to my beach house to upholster two sofas and a chair. I called and made an appointment to meet the owner. When I drove up I was wondering where am I going down a dirt road off of Route 210. Don't let the location worry you. I met the owner and she is a very nice person. She told us exactly how many yards of fabric we would need to order and asked us about the type of foam cushions we would like. We then ordered the fabric and the owner ordered the cushions. A few weeks ago we picked up the cushions and they were really excellent! I've had upholstery work done many times and have been generally happy with the results but I was really impressed with this work. Some people are proficient in their work and some master their craft. The work at Creative Upholstery is an example of mastering the upholstery craft. The matching of repeating patterns throughout the pieces is outstanding. The foam used is super high quality and I expect it will last for years. Waste fabric was used to make contrasting piping around the solid color back cushions that matches the pattern of the seat cushions - a nice touch. The zippers are high quality and sewed in perfectly. I highly recommend Creative Upholstery in Hampstead. It is a rare thing to see people take pride in their trade these days but the pride is evident in the work that is done at Creative Upholstery.
